We’re seeking a talented Cost Engineer to make an impact on three large-scale projects at the forefront of defense innovation. If you thrive in a collaborative environment where your expertise is valued, this role is for you!

What You’ll Do
As a Cost Engineer, you’ll ensure seamless cost management and forecasting for large, complex projects. Your role is pivotal in aligning project schedules with performance baselines and delivering actionable insights for success. Key responsibilities include:

  • System Integration: Align project cost management systems with scheduling tools like Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Data Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, performance measurement, and variance analysis.
  • Compliance Leadership: Manage Earned Value Management System (EVMS) compliance, from baseline development to performance monitoring.
  • Reporting Excellence: Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports, including variance analyses and monthly deliverables like Format 1-5 reports.
  • Collaboration: Partner with multidisciplinary teams to implement cost baseline changes and ensure data integrity.

Your Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required per Department of Energy regulations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, finance, or related fields; equivalent experience may substitute.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of cost engineering or project controls experience.
  • Skills: Proficiency in cost and scheduling tools like Deltek Cobra and Oracle Primavera P6, and a strong understanding of EVMS principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale government or industrial projects.
  • Leadership experience in managing cost engineering or project controls teams.
  • Professional certifications such as CCP or PMP.

Location Details
Arnold Air Force Base is located in Tullahoma, TN, just an hour southeast of Nashville. The assignment duration is approximately two years, and relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates. Please note that per diems and rotations are not provided.
